You have just completed a manuscript (revised dissertation, monograph, collection of essays, critical edition of a text, etc). It is now time to have it considered for publication by a highly respected and prestigious peer-reviewed academic press: University Press of the South.

Our Editorial Committee will evaluate the viability of your book, and will have your manuscript peer-reviewed. We need to receive at least two POSITIVE letters of recommendation by outside readers in order to accept your manuscript for publication. If we ever decide to work together, your book will be published no later than four months after we get your final manuscript prepared camera-ready according to our Author Guide.
