Music is a creative art; why can’t the books used to teach music be as creative?  The book comes with suitable exercises and an answer key for each chapter.  It is also designed for all those non-musical persons who are taking a music fundamentals course and don’t have a clue of what is going on.  The Mysteries of the Musical Language Revealed can also be used outside the classroom by the average reading public.

Barry Kolman is a Doctor of Arts in Conducting from the University of Northern Colorado.  He is currently an Associate Professor of Music at Washington and Lee University, and the Conductor and Music Director of the University-Shenandoah Symphony, University String Ensemble.
